Product Overview
This service is intended for situations like acquisitions or mergers in which one Inter-Exchange Carrier with Trunk Side Access (the Acquiring Inter-Exchange Carrier) acquires the equal access customer base of another Inter-Exchange Carrier (the Original Inter-Exchange Carrier). An Acquiring Inter-Exchange Carrier can request that the Company convert the customer PIC selections from the Original Inter-Exchange Carrier to the Acquiring Inter-Exchange Carrier on a bulk transfer basis. Prior to the processing of such a bulk customer base transfer by the Company, the Acquiring Inter-Exchange Carrier must provide the Company with documentation of the original Inter-Exchange Carrier agreement to the bulk transfer of its customer base.
An Acquiring Inter-Exchange Carrier requesting a bulk transfer of another Inter-Exchange Carrier customer base must provide the company with advance notice of such a request. Depending upon the size and nature of the customer base to be transferred, the specific timing of the transfer may be subject to negotiation with the company.
Charges for processing a request for a bulk transfer of another Inter-Exchange Carrier customer base are assessed to the acquiring Inter-Exchange Carrier. The charges, as specified in the tariff, consist of two components, a basic charge per request and a variable charge per access line PIC selection transferred.

Product Overview
This service provides for a network announcement to be activated when an Inter-Exchange Carrier with Trunk Side Access is disconnected from the Company's network, or otherwise ceases to provide its customers with access to long distance services. The Company will route all calls destined for the network of the disconnected Inter-Exchange Carrier to a recorded announcement. When customers attempt to place calls on the network of the disconnected Inter-Exchange Carrier, the announcement will inform customers that the Inter-Exchange Carrier is no longer in service and direct such customers to contact another long distance service provider to establish service and/or to obtain instructions for making immediate long distance calls via casual dialing.
A once-only charge, as specified in the tariff, is assessed for the creation of the announcement capability. This charge is assessed to each Inter-Exchange Carrier having provided to the Company, on the effective date of this tariff, an "Access Customer CARE (Customer Accounts Record Exchange) Profile" as referenced in Schedule 4 of the CSG Agreement.
Each time an Inter-Exchange Carrier with Trunk Side Access is disconnected from the Company's network, or otherwise ceases to provide its customers with access to long distance services, a charge, as specified in the tariff, is assessed for the activation of the recorded announcement. This charge is assessed to each remaining Inter-Exchange Carrier having provided to the Company, on the date that the announcement is activated, an "Access Customer CARE (Customer Accounts Record Exchange) Profile" as referenced in Schedule 4 of the CSG Agreement.
