Product Overview
BNS Database Service permits CLEC and WSP to list in the TELUS BNS database the high level numbers (NPA-NXX/NPA-NXX-X) and line level numbers (NPA-NXX-XXXX), for which they are responsible for the purpose of placing collect and third number billed call billing restrictions on their end users' telephone lines. Before the BNS database is activated a Billing and Collection agreement must signed between the CLEC or WSP and TELUS.
- The service is available to CLEC and WSP.
- The subscriber is required to establish service with TELUS when operating in TELUS territory.
- If a ten-digit number is to be listed, the corresponding seven digit number must already exist in the database, or must also be listed.
- The subscriber shall provide accurate high level and line level number information records for all transactions to be entered into the database. The Company shall enter each transaction into the BNS database on behalf of the subscriber.

Product Overview
The Standby Circuit tariff allows for the establishment and removal of standby circuits for PSTN connectivity, Advantage Preferred Service connectivity, Advantage Toll-free Service connection and 800/877/888 Access.
Upon removal of the standby condition, standby circuits may only be used for the type of service specified in the original order that established them.
All requests to establish standby circuits and to subsequently remove the standby condition must be addressed to the TELUS Carrier Services Group.

Carrier Access Tariff Item 295
Product Overview
Subject to the availability of Facilities, TELUS will furnish to an Inter-Exchange Carrier, Interconnecting Circuits and CCS7 connections with appropriate Automatic Number Identification or calling line identification, for the purpose of testing their respective networks. The rates and charges for such connections are specified in the TELUS Tariffs.
Connections furnished to the Inter-Exchange Carrier pursuant to this Tariff Item shall be restricted to testing functions. Inter-Exchange Carrier shall not use these connections to carry any of their administrative or commercial traffic.
Contribution charges will not apply to Facilities designated as Test Facilities.
