Product Overview
Basic Listing Interchange File (BLIF) provides a machine-readable file containing non-confidential Customer listing information (the Listings File) for TELUS Customers listed in TELUS' directories and directory assistance database. The Company provides a complete set of listings, as specified in the BLIF Service Description and Ordering Guidelines document (the "BLIF Document") prepared by the Operator Services and Directory Listings Sub-Working Group of the CRTC Interconnection Steering Committee to Local Exchange Carriers (LEC) for the purpose of providing telephone directories and/or directory assistance.

Product Overview
Directory Information Service (DIS) provides Competitive Local Exchange Carriers (CLECs), Wireless Service Providers (WSPs), Interexchange Carriers (IXC) as well as third parties, access to the Company's directory assistance system for the provision of local directory assistance by a CLEC, WSP, IXC or third party, to its end-users, for calls originating within TELUS territory. The service is comprised of responding to calls for local directory assistance from the CLEC's, WSP's, IXC or third party's end-users, eliciting sufficient information from the caller to search for a listing, plus quoting the desired telephone number and/or address information if found in the Company's directory database. The service is provided via a TELUS operator and/or by automated voice equipment.

Product Overview:
TELUS can provide a fully-branded Directory Assistance service through a variety of access methods (i.e. 411, 1+NPA-555-1212, 10-10, 1-800, etc).
This service enables customers to access a live operator for accurate and current local Directory Assistance information (over 165 million listings, for residence, business and government listings in North America). Our operators have access to the premier directory listings databases in Canada (which TELUS owns and maintains) and the United States. Our operators can also access foreign operators for International Directory Assistance information in over 250 countries.

Product Overview:
This service provides connectivity between the customer's Directory Assistance Operator positions, our Canadian Directory Assistance database and to our partner's US based Directory database. This permits the customers Directory Assistance positions / operators to submit inquiries directly to our database search engine, which in turn allows listing information to be retrieved from the applicable databases and be displayed to the remote operator. These inquiry responses are suitable for manual quote by the remote operator or for release to the customer's voice processing system.

Product Overview
This service provides either manual or automated operator assistance for local and toll calls. Specifically, we can provide the alternately-billed (Collect and Bill to Third) processing of calls in to Canada.
Collect Service
This service has been designed to make collect calling to Canada simpler and faster. It is supported by flexible options, offering alternative access and settlement methods that will reduce operational costs and increase revenues.
The Collect Service (either automated or live operator-assisted) provides a number of value-added capabilities that not only improve the validation and termination of collect calls into Canada, but also significantly reduce the opportunity for fraud.
Access can be provided in different ways to support automated validation and termination. In addition, the placement of a Collect call is streamlined to reduce the holding time required by the foreign operator. These enhancements along with alternative billing and settlement options, improve cash flow and profits for our International partners.
The Collect Service also provides the clearing and billing function for all collect calls to Canada, thereby providing a complete solution for your collect traffic to Canada.
