Product Overview
Multi Carrier Selection Capability (MCSC) provides 800 calling service subscribers the ability to designate one or more Inter-Exchange Carriers (IXC) to carry their domestic 800 calls for any single 800 number.
Multi Carrier Selection Capability is a vertical feature that permits 800 calling service providers, with originating trunk-side access, to offer optional carrier selection based on: originating Area Code (NPA), originating Exchange (NPA NXX), time-of-day, day-of-week, specific date and on a percentage allocation basis for calls originating and terminating in Canada.
800 calling service providers may offer optional carrier selection services utilizing 800 access with MCSC directly to their 800 calling service subscribers or, indirectly, through the services of a Responsible Organization designated by the subscriber.

The Prepaid Long Distance Card is a niche market product targeted toward tourists/travelers. The Card is a standard, wallet sized plastic card branded with the company's trademark, logo and card denomination. The denominations are visible on the front and back face of the card and are designated in Canadian Funds. It also allows the end user to access (toll-free) a multi-lingual voice response language tree to complete the call in the following languages:

Product Overview
Rebiller Elite is a toll service that provides unique rates and discounts designed to meet the needs of the rebiller market. For discount purposes, Rebiller Elite provides either provincial or national aggregation of customer-dialed toll calls placed by the rebiller's customers to Canada, U.S. and international destinations.
This service provides the necessary functionality for managing the rebiller's customer base activity through mechanized order processing and daily data delivery of call detail information.
The service is provided under the terms and conditions of the Rebiller Elite Contract and the National Rebiller Agreement, and is subject to a minimum monthly usage charge. Rebiller Elite is provided on a rebiller account basis, with aggregation of network usage charges occurring on a provincial or national basis for discount purposes.
Rebiller Elite is available to rebillers that are registered with the CRTC and have executed the National Rebiller Agreement (NRA) and the Rebiller Elite Contract.
The service is subject to a minimum monthly charge and is provided on a rebiller account basis with monthly account aggregation of billable network usage charges occurring on either a provincial or a national basis for discount purposes.
Rebiller Card
TELUS can provide Calling Card capability to customers who subscribe to National Rebiller Elite.
The following features are included with the Rebiller Card offering:

Users of the Rebiller Elite Card will dial 1-800-xxx-xxxx to access their calling card service via the TELUS network.
A unique 1-800 number will be provided to each Rebiller, which can accommodate vanity number selection and future branding as well as customized announcements.
The 1-800 access for the Rebiller cards will be restricted to Canada, the US Mainland, Alaska and Hawaii.

Switched Call Completion (SCC) is a bulk discount long distance service designed specifically for the Canadian wholesale market. This service is a competitively priced, bulk, switched minutes, DDD toll plan designed specifically to meet the needs of wholesale customers, Access Carriers of long distance services, resellers and cellular companies. SCC gives discounted rates to companies with high traffic volumes (minimum of 1 million minutes per month) when they carry their off-network or overflow traffic.

The Toll-Free Service allows customers to receive long distance voice/data/fax calls from pre-specified Canadian and U.S. locations (coverage) at no charge to the caller as the cost of the call is paid by the customer receiving the call. Toll-free is suitable for any business with a current or potential customer base outside their free-calling area.

Access Options
Non-Dedicated Access
- Toll-free calls can be received on an existing business line, over-line, multi-line group, pager, fax-line, voice mail, RCF number, cellular number, DID local, Centrex station or any dialable ten-digit number. Both toll-free and regular calls are received on the same line. The customer will not know if the incoming call is a toll-free or regular call. The line will have dial tone, therefore regular outgoing calls can be made from it. More than one toll-free number can be terminated on a non-dedicated access line. Toll-free terminations on Megalink or DEA facilities is always provisioned as non-dedicated access.
Dedicated Access
- A separate incoming access line where ONLY toll-free calls can be received on the line or group of multi-lines. There is no dial tone on this line/group of lines, therefore, no outgoing calls can be made from it.
- More than one toll-free number can be terminated on a dedicated access line or group of lines.
- Targeted to customers who need to know their call is a toll-free call. The customer that wants to guarantee a certain number of lines for their toll-free calls.
Calls can be completed to the terminating conversion number associated with line(s), i.e. calls ring in on the dedicated access line(s) when the caller dials the seven digit terminating number as opposed to the 1-toll-free number associated with the line(s). These calls are NOT rated as toll-free calls, but will tie up the dedicated line(s).

It provides excellent conferencing value by providing reliable service, high quality connections, secure conference calls and value-added features.
Conferencing Services Types
Two types of conferencing options are available to customers:
- Customer Handled Conference Calls - participants dial into a reserved number at a prearranged time without operator assistance. Participants save on any long distance charges to the conference bridge by using their long distance savings plan. Teleconferencing Operators can be contacted for assistance any time during the call.
- Operator Handled Conference Calls - a Teleconferencing Operator contacts all participants and connects them to the conference bridge, adding the chairperson and the participants to the meeting one-by-one. This personalized call set-up saves time for the chairperson. The Teleconference Operator remains on standby to assist participants with any issues.
Value-Added Features
These value-added features make TELUS Teleconferencing a more versatile and powerful communication tool. Customers must check availability of each feature in their area and request required features when making their conference reservation.
Toll-free Access- is suitable for customers who prefer to have all charges associated with a Customer Handled Conference Call billed to the conference chairperson. As a meeting chairperson, you may:
- Allow participants to join a teleconference meeting from any location in North America at no cost to them;
- Invite clients, shareholders or suppliers to join your meetings from any location in North America by dialing a special toll-free number - you pay the long distance bridge charges, your participants pay nothing.
- Give meeting participants a toll-free number and a pass code that provides access to your meeting.
- Conference Recording and Playback Options - once your meeting is over, TELUS Teleconferencing digital recording feature makes it possible to keep a permanent or temporary record of your meeting or announcement. This makes it convenient for you to brief key personnel after your meeting, and allow those who couldn't attend the call to listen directly to important information. Taping allows you to have a permanent record of your session recorded and produced on audiocassette. Conference Playback allows you to have a temporary digital recording of your meeting available to be accessed via another conference for up to seven days after the original conference.
- Playback-On-Demand enables participants who have missed a teleconference meeting to access and listen to the entire conference call as little as 10 minutes after the start of the call. Participants can pause, fast-forward or rewind the recording from a touch-tone phone. Playback-On-Demand can also provide "Voice Capture" where the name and affiliation of callers to the conference recording are recorded and tracked. A Virtual Private Network (VNet) is a network service that enables communication between locations in Canada, the US, and around the world. It is provided on existing local network access facilities or dedicated connections.
The VNet Access components of the service are those sets of arrangements from a customer's premises-based equipment to the VNet node. The VNet Access Arrangements are as follows:

Product Overview
There are three types of VNet Calling Cards available:
a. VNet Only Calling Card (type 1 card)
b. VNet Combination Calling Card ( 0+ type 2 card)
c. VNet Phone (Standard) Card (standard type 3 card)
A. VNet Only Calling Card
VNet Only Calling Card is a virtual network card and offers 1-800 off-site access to the customer's VNet network for long distance calling from anywhere in Canada and the United States. The card user simply dials a 1-800-access number, listens for a prompt tone, dials the private dial plan number or a public number (including overseas) listens for a second prompt tone and then inputs his card number. Operators and a customer assistance centre are available.
B. VNet Combination Calling
VNet Combination Calling Card has all of the features of a regular telephone company 0+ Calling Card including magnetic strip. This combination card includes the same functionality as the regular VNet calling card but with the O+ magnetic strip it is targeted for payphones and can be used to place calls from Overseas to Canada. Calls can be placed as either VNet calling card calls using a 1-800 number and gaining access to the customers network and, or as normal calling card calls using the O+ capability, but not features associated with the customers network. Both of these types of calls will be billed with the customer's usage but at the VNet card rates. The customer must call their CBR to have the Range Privilege and the card(s) activated
C. VNet Phone Card
The VNet customer can continue to use their existing calling cards, in order to receive the VNet rates, discounts and information associated with their card calling. Their calling card must, however, be registered into the VNet database.
VNET CO-BRANDED CARDS
VNet customers who not only require VNet Cards but would like their Corporate Logo on the card, are therefore requesting CoLogo'd or Co-Branded cards.
