Product Overview The TELUS Clearinghouse provides customers with a solution to their out-collect billing and collection needs. Through the establishment of a single agreement with the TELUS Clearinghouse customers will have access to the majority of Canadian and US Local Exchange Carriers for billing and collection of their alternately billed calls. Product Overview TELUS will provide Billing and Collection Services for eligible Message Toll Calls, as defined in the Company's Billing and Collection Services Agreement, which are completed over the Inter-Exchange Carrier network, at the rates set out in the tariff. Billing and Collection Service includes: Preparation and rendering of bills for charges purchased by the Company, from the Inter-Exchange Carrier, which are associated with eligible calls by customers of the Inter-Exchange Carrier who also maintain accounts with the Company. Collection of payments for charges associated with eligible calls made by customers of the Inter-Exchange Carrier, including appropriate taxes which will be remitted by the Inter-Exchange Carrier to the appropriate governments. Answering of Customer questions regarding charges billed by the Company for eligible calls provided by the Inter-Exchange Carrier, excluding questions about the details of the Inter-Exchange Carrier services, rates, rate structures and similar matters. Application of credits and adjustments to Customer accounts, in accordance with billing and collection services procedures which are provided to the Inter-Exchange Carrier from time to time by the Company.
